The foliage of the Bonnie Curly is much like the name suggests, and resembles the long, skinny legs of a spider bug. It is characterized by its rounded and compact plant habit, with white and green stripe variegation.

- Light
- This plant prefers bright, indirect sunlight. If placing indoors, a southern facing window is optimal.
- Water
- Regularly water the plant, keeping the soil moist instead of wet or dry.
- Temperature
- Anything between 50° F to 80°F is optimal, the warmer the better.
- Humidity
- Medium to high levels of humidity allow this plant to thrive
- Soil
- Rich, bark/peat based soils that are lightweight are optimal. It should be able to retain moisture, but not hold water.
- Fertilizer
- Fertilize once a month during peak growth season.
- Re-potting
- When the roots appear to have filled the bottom of the pot, it is time to upgrade.
