Foliage
The foliage of the Chinese Evergreen grow into defined oval shapes that protrude from its stalks. In addition, older plants have been shown to form trunks similar to that of a dracaena.

CARE GUIDE
- Light
- This plant prefers bright, indirect sunlight. If placing indoors, a southern facing window is optimal.
- Water
- Regularly water the plant, keeping the top inch of the soil moist at all times.
- Temperature
- Anything between 68° F to 77° is optimal, but degrees as low as 55° are known to be tolerable.
- Humidity
- Medium to high levels of humidity allow this plant to thrive
- Soil
- Rich, bark/peat based soils that are lightweight are optimal. It should be able to retain moisture, but not hold water.
- Fertilizer
- Give a diluted liquid fertilizer from spring through summer.
- Re-potting
- Re-pot every 2-3 years during the spring season.
