Foliage
The foliage of the "Hobbit's Pipe" is a favorite among J.R.R Tolkien fans, due to the unusual shape of its leaves. The small, shrubby, pipe resemblant leaves look as if they've come from another world.

CARE GUIDE
- Light
- This plant prefers bright, direct sunlight. If placing indoors, a southern facing window is optimal.
- Water
- Regularly water the plant, allowing it to dry out before proceeding to water again.
- Temperature
- Anything between 60° F to 75° is optimal, the warmer the better.
- Humidity
- Medium to high levels of humidity allow this plant to thrive
- Soil
- Rich, bark/peat based soils that are lightweight are optimal. It should be able to retain moisture, but not hold water.
- Fertilizer
- Give a water-soluble fertilizer twice a month from April to August.
- Re-potting
- When the roots appear to have filled the bottom of the pot, it is time to upgrade.
