Get growing.

Good plant care starts with the room you actually have. Read the light, learn the weight of the pot, and notice what changed. We’ll help you turn those observations into a routine.

01

Start with the room.

Light is not a label on a room. Note the window direction, how far the plant sits from it, and whether the light changes with the season.

First checks

  • At midday, can you read comfortably without a lamp?
  • Does direct sun touch the leaves?
  • Is the plant near a vent or draft?
02

Turn observation into a routine.

A calendar reminder is a prompt to check, not an order to water. Soil moisture, pot weight, recent weather, and the plant itself decide what happens next.

Before you water

  • Feel below the soil surface, not only the top.
  • Lift the pot and learn its dry weight.
  • Make sure excess water has somewhere to go.
03

When something changes, slow down.

A yellow leaf is a clue, not a diagnosis. Check what changed before changing everything at once: light, watering, temperature, soil, location, or season.

Make the next step useful

  • Photograph the whole plant and the affected leaf.
  • Check both sides of the leaves and the soil line.
  • Change one condition at a time, then observe.

What changed?

A leaf is a clue, not a diagnosis. Start with the change you can see, then check the room and routine before changing everything at once.
